Awarded Contract at NIH – Office of AIDS Research (OAR)

Team TISTA/Highrise has been awarded a $6.7MM contract to provide IT Systems and Application Development Support to the NIH Office of AIDS Research (OAR). Our team is tasked with supporting the technical needs of the OAR staff, analyzing needs and requirements for application enhancements, providing technical support for the shared server environment, maintaining existing applications, and developing new applications and services to support ongoing applications migration effort.

Awarded Prime Contract at NIH – OD – DPCPSI – Dashboard (re-compete)

The Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives (DPCPSI), Office of the Director (OD), a component of the Office of Director (OD) within the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), has again acquired professional services from Highrise Consulting, Inc. to continue providing on-going technical support to the DPCPSI SharePoint portal

On a winning team with SCG, Inc. – NIH – DPCPSI – Various Systems Support

Scientific Consulting Group, Inc., together with Highrise Consulting, Inc. was awarded multiple contracts to support the following:

  • 05/11/2017 Support the infrastructure, applications, and processes of the Office of AIDS Research (OAR). SCG/Highrise team is tasked with assessing the entire OAR application suite, consolidating functionality to improve efficiency, and retire obsolete systems. Additionally, contractor provides technical support for the server environment, maintains existing OAR applications, and develops new applications and services to streamline OAR operations.
  • 04/19/2017 Automate the process of generating the annual Trans-NIH Collaboration report to the US Congress. The report aggregates data on various types of projects (grants, contracts, IAAs, intramurals) awarded in response to a collaborative funding opportunity.
  • 04/19/2017 Implement a web-based portal that supports budgetary activities for projects that require funding from two or more sources. The project requires contractor to assess existing systems that are used for co-funding purposes, perform a requirements gap analysis, design and develop the technical solution, and perform demonstrations of portals functionality to various offices within NIH
  • 10/05/2016 For Office of Research Infrastructure Programs (ORIP) – design and develop the Strategic Plan Reporter (SPReporter). Using a dashboard layout, SPReporter provides visibility into grant delivery schedules, budgets, reports, publications, and advanced data analytics, which allows ORIP management to evaluate performance against the Strategic Plan.

On a winning team with Leidos (Lockheed Martin) – NIH – ORWH Systems Support

The Office of Research in Women’s Health (ORWH) at Health and Human Services engaged Professional and Subject Matter Expertise services of Leidos, Inc (a former Lockheed Martin division), together with Highrise Consulting, Inc. to provide assessment of the existing ORWH SharePoint environment, migrate ORWH sites to SharePoint 2013, redesign the ORWH SharePoint site, enhance collaborative teamwork, and optimize workflow and document management. The team works with client stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify business areas where SharePoint solutions would improve internal business processes.

Awarded a prime contract at Denali Commission – COE Grant program Support and Services for the HHS/ACF Grants Center of Excellence (CoE) – GrantSolutions.gov

Highrise Consulting, Inc. was awarded a prime contract with the Denali Commission to provide information technology and grants management business services to support GrantSolutions.gov, a federal shared service provider managed by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in partnership with the Denali Commission. The CoE delivers end-to-end grants management products and services to support over 1,200 grant programs administered across eight federal departments. Its mission is to provide comprehensive and cost-effective grants management solutions for grantors, grantees, and the public. Highrise Consulting, Inc. will provide services that span across all of the COE mission critical business areas including planning, grants policy, requirements analysis, design and development, operations, grants management services, user support, security compliance, and research and development.

Awarded a prime contract at NIH/eRA – Biomedical and Related Research Grant Application Support Services

Highrise Consulting, Inc. was awarded the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Electronic Research Administration (eRA) Biomedical and Related Research Grant Application Support Services prime contract encompassing Service Desk, Communication, Documentation, Account Management, Partner Engagement Support, Functional Testing and Training support areas. eRA systems provide applicants, grantees and federal staff the tools necessary for electronic processing of grants. Used by NIH, AHRQ, CDC, FDA, SAMHSA and the VA, the eRA Commons and IMPACII systems support the full grants life cycle from receipt to award to closeout. Highrise Consulting, Inc. is committed to eRA’s mission success and to delivering outstanding eRA customer support.

Awarded a Subcontract at HHS – EWITS System Support

Offspring Solutions, Inc. has awarded a Subcontract to Highrise Consulting, Inc. to assist in implementation and customization of the BizFlow workflows to support Department of Health and Human Services program to aggregate human resources data from its 40 physical locations into a single Enterprise Workflow and Information Tracking System (EWITS). EWITS aims to improve and consolidate the efforts various HHS organizations have made to track more than 20 human resource-related processes. HHS oversees eight operating agencies, representing more than 68,000 employees. EWITS is based on an earlier, similar effort by the National Institutes of Health. That system, called the Workflow Information Tracking System (WITS), tracks when HR personnel receive and send information.

On a winning team with Leidos – NIH eRA Software Development

Leidos together with Highrise Consulting, Inc. have successfully re-competed and were again awarded a large Software Development contract for the eRA Program of the National Institutes of Health (era.nih.gov). The NIH eRA Program provides electronic systems support to manage the receipt, processing, review, award, and monitoring of billions of dollars’ worth of research and non-research grants awarded annually. These grants are funded by NIH in support of the mission of improving human health.
Under the contract, Leidos, together with Highrise, will provide IT services necessary to support eRA in the development, maintenance, and implementation of systems that are designed to accommodate NIH and Department of Health and Human Services initiatives. Our Team will also provide design and development services to the government for all eRA program modules throughout the software development lifecycle. The end products shall be modules of production quality, which will enhance and integrate with the existing eRA modules and provide substantial new functionality.
