Office of Research in Women’s Health (ORWH) at Health and Human Services
engaged Professional and Subject Matter Expertise services of Leidos, Inc (a

provide assessment of the existing ORWH SharePoint environment, migrate ORWH
sites to SharePoint 2013, redesign the ORWH SharePoint site, enhance

the infrastructure, applications, and processes of the Office of AIDS Research
(OAR). SCG/Highrise team is tasked with assessing the entire OAR application
suite, consolidating functionality to improve efficiency, and retire obsolete
systems. Additionally, contractor provides technical support for the server
environment, maintains existing OAR applications, and develops new applications

04/19/2017 - Automate
the process of generating the annual Trans-NIH Collaboration report to the US
Congress. The report aggregates data on various types of projects (grants,

2/22/2016 - Highrise Consulting, Inc. was awarded a prime contract with the Denali Commission to provide information technology and grants management business services to support GrantSolutions.gov, a federal shared service provider managed by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in partnership with the Denali Commission. The CoE delivers end-to-end grants management products and services to support over 1,200 grant programs administered across eight federal departments. Its mission is to provide comprehensive and cost-effective grants management solutions for grantors, grantees, and the public. Awarded a Subcontract at HHS - EWITS System Support
12/01/2014 - Offspring Solutions, Inc. has awarded a Subcontract to
Highrise Consulting, Inc. to assist in implementation and customization
of the BizFlow workflows to support Department of Health and Human
Services program to aggregate human resources data from its 40 physical
locations into a single Enterprise Workflow and Information Tracking
System (EWITS). EWITS aims to improve and consolidate the efforts
various HHS organizations have made to track more than 20 human
resource-related processes. HHS oversees eight operating agencies,
representing more than 68,000 employees. EWITS is based on an earlier,
similar effort by the National Institutes of Health. That system,
called the Workflow Information Tracking System (WITS), tracks when HR
personnel receive and send information.

10/01/2014 - Leidos
together with Highrise Consulting, Inc. have successfully re-competed and were again awarded a large Software
Development contract for the eRA Program of the National Institutes of
Health (era.nih.gov). The NIH eRA Program provides electronic systems support to manage the receipt, processing, review, award, and monitoring of billions of dollars' worth of research and non-research grants awarded annually. These grants are funded by NIH in support of the mission of improving human health.
Under the contract, Leidos, together with Highrise, will provide IT services necessary to support eRA in the development, maintenance, and implementation of systems that are designed to accommodate NIH and Department of Health and Human Services initiatives. Our Team will also provide design and development services to the government for all eRA program modules throughout the software development lifecycle. The end products shall be modules of production quality, which will enhance and integrate with the existing eRA modules and provide substantial new functionality.

09/18/2013 - Highrise Consulting Inc. has been awarded a contract to develop AIDS Budget System (ABSII) to replace legacy system currently in place at the Office of AIDS Research (OAR). The new system provides highly flexible database and UI controls structure to accommodate unique aspects of OAR’s budget process as they relate to annual shifts in scientific areas of emphasis and priorities. The ABSII allows for dynamic creation of columns and rows on the data collection screens for specific Fiscal Years but also preserves historic data in its present format, and makes it available for reporting, and comparison purposes. The system delivers significant improvements in the areas of User Account Management, Fiscal Year rollover and Reporting.

Engineering contract for the eRA Program of the National Institutes of

Highrise Consulting Inc. has been awarded a contract to provide ongoing technical support to the NIH Office of the Director Office of the Budget on the federal budgetary matters. 09/2012 - NIH Office of the Director Office of the Budget has partnered with Highrise Consulting Inc. on the development of the NIH Budget Database (NBUD) project. The goal of the project is to design and develop an IT system that facilitates OB staff in all major budget activities related to the NIH Budget Formulation, Presentation and Execution phases of the annual Federal budget cycle. NBUD is aimed to serve as an effective intelligence tool that will facilitate NIH’s reporting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) , the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) , the United States Congress and assist in preparation of materials for the President’s Budget publications. initiatives. The objective is to provide design and development services
and ongoing system maintenance services to the Government for all OB Systems,
particularly the RCDC Budget Estimating Tool (R-BET) throughout the software
development lifecycle (SDLC). R-BET performs estimation, validation and
compilation of RCDC categories’ spending projection inputs from Institutes and
Centers (IC) based on RCDC actual funding data. In addition to R-BET support,
Highrise Consulting staff is working on the development of two new tools that
are aimed at automating the OB internal processes, they are: Mechanism Table
Data Management Tool (MTDMT) and IC Allocation Model (ICAM).
